An introverted Durin geologist, Chestnut dedicated himself to studying minerals and their uses prior to leaving the Durin nation. After a disastrous underground collapse caused by a Catastrophe in the surface, he decides to head above ground to find out more about Terra's surface. During his stay in the surface, Chestnut makes use of his mineral knowledge to become a doctor who provides medical treatment through a fusion of geology and Originium Arts. He worked as one of Rhodes Island's doctors and is particularly glad to see other fellow Durins there, but burdened by the prospect of Oripathy suffered by most of R.I.'s patients, Chestnut returned to the Durin nation at some point, but decides to resume his work in R.I. after a month, knowing that he just need to keep doing what he's doing.
Gameplay
Chestnut is a 4★ Wandering Medic who obviously specializes in Healing. As a Wandering Medic, Chestnut can remove Elemental Damage build-up on friendly units when healing them, which he will do even if the friendly is at full HP, equal to half of his ATK in each instance and has a wider healing range of 3×4 tiles with 1×3 tile extensions to the sides from Elite 1. The trade-off to this, however, is that Chestnut has a low ATK.
Chestnut's skills improve the effectiveness of both his HP and Elemental Damage healing:
- The first skill, Little By Little, has Chestnut immediately heal a friendly unit with a higher Elemental Damage build-up removal and can stack two charges from Level 7.
- The second skill, Rising Earth, alters Chestnut's range to only covering the three tiles ahead of him, buffs his ASPD, and increases the HP restored and Elemental Damage build-up removed in each healing instance when continuously healing one friendly while active.
Chestnut's talent, Solidly Grounded, increases the amount of Elemental Damage build-up removed when healing friendly ground units.
Chestnut's first base skill, Standardization α, increases Factories' productivity by 15% when he is assigned to one, with his second base skill Geology α increasing its
Originium Shard productivity by 30%.
Overall, Chestnut is a good Wandering Medic who can be useful in the event the player faces enemies capable of inflicting Elemental Damages that could be a major threat for their units.
