Ines is a 6★ Agent Vanguard who specializes in DP-Recovery and Fast-Redeploy. As an Agent Vanguard, Ines has a shorter redeployment time of 35 seconds (31 seconds at Potential 3) instead of other Vanguards' 70-80 seconds and an attack range of 2 tiles ahead of her, which unlike the similar Instructor Guards, can hit flying enemies.
Ines' skills improve her offensive capability and generates additional DP through combat, as well as weakening enemies:
- The first skill, Shadow Ambush, causes Ines' next attack after several attacks to generate 2 DP and applies a debuff on the target which deals Arts damage equal to a portion of Ines' ATK every second for 3 seconds, which cannot be stacked; rather, the duration is refreshed.
- The second skill, Darkness in Night, extends Ines' attack range to 2×3 tiles ahead of her with a 1-tile extension up front, buffs her ATK, makes her invisible, and causes her attacks to generate 1 DP and Steals some of the target's ASPD up to a limit until the skill ends or Ines leaves the map while active.
- The third skill, Lone Return, causes her first deployment (and only the first deployment) to cost 0 DP but she will be instantly retreated once deployed (which will not cause her DP cost to ramp up), although she can be instantly redeployed afterwards. From the second deployment onwards, Lone Return buffs Ines' ATK and generates 1 DP whenever she damages an enemy with her attacks for a period of time after she is deployed, and recalls the Shadow Whistle (see below) when Ines is deployed which deals Physical damage equal to a portion of her ATK up to several enemies it comes in contact with.
Ines' first talent, Shadow Weave, momentarily Binds the enemy and Steals some of their ATK until they are defeated or Ines leaves the map when she damages the enemy for the first time (and only the first time for each enemy). Her second talent, Shadow Whistle, has Ines carry the namesake which reveals invisible enemies within her attack range and reduces their speed, which will be left behind when she is retreated and replaced by a new one when Ines is redeployed (unless if she uses Lone Return, in which case the Whistle will be recalled towards Ines instead).
Ines' first base skill, Personnel Management β, increases the rate at which recruitment tag refreshes are generated by 35% when she is assigned to the HR Office. Her second base skill, Gathering Shadows, increases the clue search rate by 20% which further increases by 2% every hour up to 30% when Ines is assigned to the Reception Room.
Overall, Ines is an excellent Agent Vanguard who not only consistently generate DP in combat, but also provide some offensive backup with her solid stats and abilities, as well as detection even when she is off the battlefield.
