Robin is a 5★ Trapmaster Specialist who specializes in Summon and Shift, and the welfare Operator of Mansfield Break, awarded from the Be Prepared mission which requires the player to clear MB-4 with her Operator Tokens (
Robin's Token) available in the Secret Channel for 200
, 240
, 280
, 320
, and 360
. What defines Robin as a Trapmaster Specialist is having her deployed allows the player to deploy traps; in her case, Robin can deploy Clips through her talent "Clip" Specialist, which will be triggered when a ground enemy (and only ground enemies, unless if they are invisible) passes over it, inflicting Physical damage and applies different effects depending on the skill Robin are currently using (see below); Robin have four (six at Elite 1, eight at Elite 2; +2 at Potential 5) Clips to use in each and every deployment, and can hold up to six (eight at Elite 1, ten at Elite 2) Clips at a time. Unlike Summoner Supporters' summons, Robin's Clips are not counted towards the Unit Limit but cannot be deployed on tiles being occupied by enemy units and will still disappear when Robin herself is knocked out or retreated.
Robin is classified as a ranged Operator, having a range of 3×3 tiles with a 1-tile extension up front that is extended to 3×4 tiles at Elite 1 – like that of Marksman Snipers, which also extends to her stats. However, Robin does not attack aerial enemies over ground ones and lack ways to boost her DPS on her own, so she can't truly replace a Marksman Sniper when one is truly needed.
Robin's skills have a passive effect which determines how the Clips would function and are automatically activated once fully charged, which gives her an additional Clip to use; the skill will cease charging when Robin holds the maximum amount of Clips:
- The first skill, Binding "Clip", makes the Clips temporarily bind the victims when triggered, but they do the least damage. Though not as strong as the Launching "Clip" (see below), the Clips' binding effect will leave the victims a sitting duck to other Operators, particularly ranged ones.
- The second skill, Launching "Clip", makes the Clips deal the most damage and push the victim back when triggered with a force of 0 that is improved to 1 at Level 7 and 2 at Mastery 3. The Clips' shift effect allows them to be used in a similar manner to Push Stroker Specialists by blasting the victims into holes or environmental hazards so long as it is deployed correctly, and can even substitute them in certain situations, not to mention that Robin can deploy the Clips literally anywhere (so long as it's not right on top of an enemy, of course).
Robin's TRP-Y Operator Module, Limited Edition Annual Calendar, gives her a 20% chance to deploy a trap that deals double damage when triggered, in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK; once upgraded, Robin receives a second talent, Advanced Concealment, which camouflages her for a short time after she is attacked.
Robin's base skill, Specialist Expert α, speeds up the skill Mastery training of Specialist Operators by 30% when she is assigned as the trainer in the Training Room; at Elite 2, it becomes Trap Focus which also speeds it up further to 45% if the training was for Mastery 1.
Overall, Robin is an unusual introduction to the Trapmaster Specialists where her ability to plant Clips around the battlefield can be used to great effect by limiting the enemy's movement and even dispatching them on where they least expect it. Watch your step!
